It is necessary to create transparent background for images in Microsoft Office using Remove background option under Image format tab. If you are dissatisfied with your edited image, navigate to the Picture Format tab, choose Remove Background, and then either save or delete a portion of the image.
If you still see parts of the background from this image you want removed, choose Mark areas to keep or Mark areas to remove in the Background removal section in the Picture tab.
